Background Hi i am the centre project worker for lansbury HARCA. one of the community project that i am responsible for supporting is the lansbury Voices Community Project.
The Lansbury Voices Project is a community project supported by poplar HARCA a registered Social Landlord which is based in Poplar East London. The group regually meets for meetings on the first Wednesday of the Month in the Lansbury Neighbourhood Center No. 20 Alton Street in the IT Suite from 10-12 mid day & 6:30-8:30 PM.
As well as holding monthly meeting we also arrange various community projects. The main focus of Lansbury Voices is on the historical and social development of the Lansbury Estate since its development in 1951 as aprt of the festival of Britian.
our currant project for spring 2006 is the Lansbury Voices Freedom DVD project.
For summer it is the Wiki Workshops
For Autum we will be developing the Popular Hellos Tours.
