Links

Every link is of the form something and the page may or may not exists when you create that link.

Uploading images and links to images

To upload an image, select Upload file in the menu on the left hand side of any page. That is under toolbox. The image takes either the name of the file that you have from the camera or other source, by default. Or you can change in on upload to another name, but this name must end with .jpg

Links are of two types: smaller versions on pages or image galleries.

Images on pages

You can include an image on a page. If the image is too big on the screen, you can ask the wiki to create a thumbnail size image, which links to the full size image.

Here are some examples:

As with all links we have these types of brackets: something or if you want to link to a page outside the wiki use single brackets

We also specify the thumbnail option, and position the image to the left or right.

Gallery

To create a gallery, just place a list of images between the two markers <gallery> and </gallery>

Here is an example for three images: <gallery> Image:Mark_nights1.jpg Image:Mark_nights2.jpg Image:Mark_nights3.jpg </gallery>

Note that the gallery will display the images in row of four thumbnails.
